I first want to share with you this song a coworker reminded me of this morning:
So how did we arrive at restructuring?
I got an email from Monstalung's newsletter saying he was switching formats and he wasn't going to be writing as much anymore. I immediately was disappointed because I like to see what my friend has to say. But I understood it.
The longer I’ve been in the content creation game though, the more I realize I need to schedule what I’m doing in order to be as productive as possible. Releasing content whenever I’d like is cool, but it also gives me more reasons to skip making the content completely when it’s convenient for me.
So I’m restructuring things too, starting with this newsletter.
It’s Not Gonna Write Itself will continue as a weekly column on my website.
These newsletters will now contain a small intro (such as this), any content that I put out in the time since the last newsletter, five random links, and the latest episodes from Hyphen Podcast Group. Starting with this one.
It’s Not Gonna Write Itself will come out on Thursdays.
Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays will see new videos on the channel.
Sunday mornings are for Hyphen Nation and this newsletter will come out Sunday evenings.
Full episodes of Hyphen Nation should be posted on Sunday evening. New Rasslecast will be posted on Monday evenings.
I’m still unsure what to do for Tuesdays and Saturdays.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how things go in a more structured, creative environment.
