The Championship Banners Are Ruined

And other musings.

Good morning! I’m over a week in from my Lent inspired social media break (among other things) and I feel pretty fantastic. The only things I’ve looked at is my food IG and Reddit occasionally. Otherwise, all the constant noise has been tuned out.

I’m definitely going to keep some of these habits up starting April 21st. I have a plan; I’ll just have to see how well I execute.

The best part? I’m feeling creative in all areas again, just like I hoped I would once I didn’t feel like the world was constantly falling on my head (it didn’t stop, but at least I can turn a blind eye to it). I’m going to hold anything new I make close to the vest for now, but I have high hopes of a productive weekend.

Song of the Moment is Musiq Soulchild’s "Halfcrazy”. I started listening to Juslisen on the way to work yesterday and when I got to this track, it had me in it’s clutches just like it did in 2002.

Item! The Bulls’ championship banners got ruined by some pyrotechnics the other night and won’t be back until next season. Maybe they can do a 30th anniversary of the 72-10 season and, I don’t know, maybe Scottie will put his ego aside and make up with Michael. A guy can dream.
